A watershed is an area of land that drains to the nearest stream. The next time it rains, look at where the water runs from your house. Oftentimes, there's a small creek near you.
Chandra Brown, Riverkeeper, lives in Metter. When it rains at her house the water runs into a tributary of 15-mile Creek, which flows into the Canoochee, which then flows into the Ogeechee. So, she lives in the 15-mile creek watershed, the Canoochee watershed AND the Ogeechee watershed.
