There are 6 other organizations with approved programs by the WATERKEEPER Alliance in Georgia. Each of these organizations are managed separately and are distinct organizations dedicated to protecting their respective waterways.  The common thread is that each organization employs a WATERKEEPER as the fulltime advocate for their waterway:

Flint Riverkeeper:  Flint RIVERKEEPER, Gordon Rogers

Savannah Riverkeeper: Savannah RIVERKEEPER, Tonya Bonitatibus

Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper: Upper Chattahoochee RIVERKEEPER, Sally Bethea
