The Ogeechee coastal watershed as defined by the US Geological Survey is the largest watershed in terms of acreage on Georgia's coast.
Ogeechee Riverkeeper works in 3 of the 4 counties included in this watershed (Chatham, Bryan, and Liberty). We monitor all of the streams draining to Ossabaw and St. Catherine's Sounds. Atlamaha Riverkeeper works in the southern most coastal county, McIntosh, and Savannah Riverkeeper works on Wassaw Sound.
