Ogeechee Riverkeeper is not an outfitter and does not scout the river for navigability. Conditions on creeks and rivers are affected by deadfall and water levels, and can vary greatly. Paddlers should scout locations to verify suitability for participants’ safety and difficulty level ability.

The below maps were created in 2015 by Georgia Rivers for their annual Paddle Georgia event. They were updated by Ogeechee Riverkeeper in 2020. Click to download PDF of maps and accompanying points of interest.

These trips are between 12-15 miles long (on the river) and take about a day if going at a leisurely pace. This speed is only an estimate and can be affected by multiple factors including water levels, rate of flow, obstacles, paddler speed and more.
