Capitol Conservation Day

The Georgia Water Coalition organizes this event each year. Gather for a continental breakfast, orientation, and issue briefings at the Central Presbyterian Church, then walk across the street to the Capitol for a group photograph and to meet with legislators about timely water legislation.

Registration is $15 per person to cover costs for the event and include a continental breakfast. There is a discounted ticket option of $5 for those in need.

8-9:45 AM: Check in at Central Presbyterian Church. Continental breakfast will be provided, guest speakers, issue briefing, and training.
10 AM: Group photograph at the Capitol
10:15 AM-1 PM: Meet with legislators
11 AM-1 PM: Please check out before leaving to debrief on your conversations. We need this information to inform our legislative strategy. We will have a room reserved in the Capitol for checkout and debriefing (a specific room number will be provided). If you aren’t able to catch us, however, we will provide you with an online form for debrief reports.
